How does pricing work for early access?
Most practices use our Monthly ($149) subscription per office. You’ll only enter payment details once you’ve decided to move forward.
What are the minimum system requirements?

Hardware

  • Intel® Core™ i5-6600 or newer CPU
  • 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended)
  • 1.5 GB free disk space
  • No discrete GPU required

Operating system

  • Windows 11 — supported
  • Windows 10 — Version 22H2 (Build 19045.x) with all latest monthly quality/security updates installed. Earlier versions (e.g., 21H2 or earlier) are not supported.
  • Windows 10 devices must be actively enrolled in Microsoft Extended Security Updates (ESU) for Version 22H2.

Imaging system compatibility

Sugarbot is designed to run alongside a properly configured dental imaging system. Currently supported: Dexis 9, Dexis 10, XDR, MiPACS, and Dentrix.

Where do I paste the license key?
In Sugarbot, go to License Management → Product License Key, paste the key, and click Activate. The app stays activated unless the subscription expires.
I get a missing executable error.
Some antivirus software may erroneously flag and sequester Sugarbot's executable. If this happens, uninstall Sugarbot, right-click the installer and run as administrator, and choose to install for all users.
How many computers can I use Sugarbot on?
Up to 5 computers per license. Contact support if you need to move a license to a new device.
Can Sugarbot be used offline?
Yes. By default, an internet connection is needed to activate the product, and then it can be used offline. If you need to activate without an internet connection, this can be done. Reach out to tech support, and we'll get you up and running as quickly as possible.
